When actress Kristen Bell realized how much CBD products benefited people, she decided that she wanted to join the industry and help spread the miracle that is this chemical compound. Thanks to the CBD company Lord Jones, Bell went forward to create her own CBD skincare product line known as Happy Dance.
All of her products range from $15 to $30, and are marketed as clean, vegan, and gluten-free. In an interview with Forbes Magazine, Bell talks about her path toward starting this product line.

How did you initially get into CBD?
“I was introduced to the Lord Jones brand by my hairstylist and dear friend Jenny Cho three and a half years ago. I’ve been lucky to experience a ton of products through my industry and some of them work and some of them are not for me.,” Bell stated.
“But the Lord Jones name kept continually popping up because a lot of women were using their soothing body lotion on their feet and back when we used to walk in high heels, which we don’t anymore, I tried that hack and I was blown away by how it felt. I loved the quality, I loved how I felt lighter and I became very interested in what CBD was and how it can work for me.”
Where does the name Happy Dance come from?
“It described the experience of what I felt when I was using CBD. It’s a metaphor about a perspective shift and in today’s world stress is so rampant around every corner and you don’t really get the me time that you want.”
Why did you make the products at an accessible price point?
“I grew up in Michigan and it is still not lost on me how grossly overpaid I am as an actress and how, for instance, when we started Hello Bello, wanting to give premium, high quality diapers and wipes and lotions and potions for kids out there that weren’t only at an LA boutique with a high price point.”
“My main goal was to create a good product, but the accessibility was mandatory.”
About Happy Dance
