Neptune Wellness Solutions, a supplements company in Quebec, Canada that specializes in fish oil and cannabinoid oils, has appointed two new members to their Board of Directors.
On Tuesday, Joseph Buaron and Michael A. de Geus joined the company’s board. Both of them come equipped with years of useful experience that they can bring to the table for the company.
Joseph Bauron brings 20 years of experience with him as a chief technology officer (CTO). As CTO, Bauron is responsible for all scientific and technological issues within his organization. He is also the co-founder and current CTO for goPeer, Canada’s first regulated peer to peer lender.
Michael A. de Geus is a security executive “with domestic and international cyber investigative and physical security experience.” He is the founder and CEO of Leatherback Gear, LLC., who produces bulletproof backpacks.
Previously, de Geus served as a Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security.

Neptune Wellness Solutions focuses on the extraction, purification, and formulation of health and wellness products. Just last year, they acquired Sugarleaf Labs on Conover, a hemp extractor out of North Carolina that helps them in producing CBD products.
